So. To celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary my wife and I went away for a long weekend to a coastal town called Yamba on the NSW north coast. Our favorite holiday spot. and where we’re looking to move to.

We looked at a house on Friday as well driving around, 6 more houses on Saturday with Sunday as our day of rest.

So guess who wakes up at 4am – can’t get back to sleep and then proceeds to write 5500 words in a new story in one day………

On my laptop using my fingers rather than the Dragon dictation I use at home….

The Princess and the Privateer is all lining up to be out the 1st of July (give or take how long Amazon takes.)

The Paperback version of Taking Off will be up this week sometime

I am looking for online RPG character names for the above story I started on my holiday – if anybody has a genuine Character name that they use and would be willing to share please send them through 🙂

And I have a fantasy short story published in the just released Fantastic Schools vol. 4
the story is “Star Pupil” and is about Taroniah of Marland and is an excerpt from her first book which will probably be published next year.

While I am struggling to find a good storyline for the next Arturo book that isn’t just more veni vidi vici instead of forcing it I have decided to go with another series – I think partly is because right from the start it was about ‘restoring the Empire’ which he has now done and my muse had never taken the story beyond that point but eventually he will move forward because he appears in …. sorry, spoilers.
Perhaps a break from the Roman Empire will do the muse good….

In the meantime I will be publishing the first story of the Princess series. Sort of swashbuckling sci-fi adventure stuff with a bit of romance as well…. my wife thinks its a good story….

This will list all your books and show all those that have been updated by the author – you will lose any bookmarks but you will get the latest version of the book for free.

Sailing East may be not in a new version as there were only 86 corrections made since publishing and a lot of those were minor things like a missing s or ed
On The Rocks has a new version last time I checked – 254 corrections….

Not sure about the others but it is worth checking – not just for my books but books by other authors – I have a lot of Chris Nuttall’s stuff and he has heaps of updated versions out.

Still no main storyline for book 7 sorry… so the next book to be published after Taking Off will be The Princess and the Privateer. Probably the first week of July….
