Taroniah update

My next release, the fantasy novel Taroniah at School, is still on schedule for release at the beginning of March. All being well. It will be followed by Kyron the Bowman which is the story of a contemporary of Taroniah’s, but who lives at the other end of the world.
After that, I am planning on Arturo 8 although I still have a problem with the plot of the second half of the book.

Beyond that I am not sure yet. Either Taroniah 2 or Princess 4 probably.

My multiverse sorcerer book I had submitted to Baen was rejected – bad luck for them. I submitted it to them because my own schedule is full up for the foreseeable future. I will try another publisher. There are now 5 books plotted out in that series and all have at least 20k words in them with book 2 at nearly 80k. If I can’t get a publisher interested in the series by the end of the year I will re-assess my own publishing program I think and squeeze them in. I have developed at least ten alternate Earth’s already as the main protagonist doesn’t time travel, just moves sideways to different Earths if that makes sense – it is always 202+ wherever he goes which means I have to plot out an alternate history for each Earth to get from the point of divergence to the current day.
So far I have two where the bolsheviks took control of Germany after WW1 – one where Germany stopped its mobilization on the Kaiser’s order after contact from the British who told the French and Russians that would stay out if Germany wasn’t attacked which led to what became known as the 4th Balkans war rather than WW1 between France, Russia and Serbia vs Austro Hungary and Bulgaria – (who both received lots of material support from Germany) leaving all the main royal houses in power at the end – with limited combat and no WW2 tech levels are very 60s but much more art deco
An Earth where the Spanish successfully invaded England with their Armada…. tech levels are very 18th century
An Earth where the American Revolution was defused by the Petition to the King being actually delivered, read and acted upon.
And others…..

The multiverse sounds intriguing. I am not a big magic fan but I have found that it can be a nice addition to a good story. And I suspect you will give us another good story.
