Given a couple of questions I have received recently here is a quick update.
The first Western Marches story – a continuation of Princess Gizel’s story – entitled:
The Mercenary
Should be out sometime this week.
The next story (70% written) will be Taroniah at Home
This will be followed by either Kyron the Conquerer or The Kelad Horde
I haven’t decided which I want to write first of those two.
Unfortunately I have no further ideas for wither Taroniah or Kyron until Bargan is in Fourth Year……
So what will follow after Conqueror or Horde I am not sure – I do have at least 5 other stories I could finish plus there is Jason that I’ve been snippeting – he has 4 other partially written books.
So – I have 3 other space opera stories plus a LitRPG type story – a Last Starfighter type story – 2 Alt Hist stories – a romance story set in Ithria 2 generations before Taroniah and Kyron – and more that I’ve partially written.
If anything takes your fancy – let me know
Well, since you said “let me know.” I cast my vote for K the C as soon as possible! Thank You for your entertaining work and the Sorcerer serialization! Hope you are enjoying your new home and location. Be safe and enjoy life!

I have just finished T & K United, and had a thought that it might mark the end of that storyline. I’m glad to hear there will be more!
If we are voting, I am enjoying the Taxon War series, so perhaps Kelad Horde after T @ Home?

I have written a short story that has been submitted too the people who publish the Magic Schools anthologies – the I had a snippet from Taroniah at School published in Vol 3 of that series – I haven’t heard back about Bargan yet – he is like 17 going on 18 at that point. It is only 9.5k words long

The God of Magic is dead. Long live the Goddess of Magic! How is Taroniah dealing with being prayed to? New inventions, horseless carriage, flying machines (zeppelins) How is the God of Magics notebook being protected, who gets to look at it? How’s the commercial ship building going? Has anyone figured out the secret of permanent magic items?

Taroniah hasn’t realized anyone is praying to her yet……
Kyron knows how to make permanent magic items too, now
Taroniah at Home should be out in Late June or early July

I like both Taroniah and Gizelle stories, though Taroniah is my favourite. Both series center on smart, capable women, and they are perfect for my granddaughters to read.
I want both of my granddaughters to understand that they are capable in their own right, and that they do not need to be accessories to a male hero.
your stories empower young women like my granddaughters.

I have a couple of ideas – on is about a gamer whose building is struck by lightning and due to faulty wiring he is electrocuted and goes into a coma. When he finally awakes he has all the skills of his character….
The other I am still sorting out….

I vote for Kyron the Conquerer, so hopefully you will feel like writing it, if you aren’t into it, that I understand. I’m hoping that some new ides for T&K will pop in when you least expect it and you will continue the series. Honestly, long series like these usually end up by becoming boring, but yours haven’t. I think part of the problem is that authors feel pressured to just turn out a new book, every six months or a year, even when they don’t really feel like it. So even if it takes you a few years to come up with some more ideas, it will be worth the wait. I am very interested in a Bargan full length book of his school years.
