We are all waiting patiently. Some more so than others. The more books the better is what I say.

Peter, if you desire a proofreader, I’ll volunteer myself. I’m dyslexic and some of the errors I’ve seen so far, book 2, make your books very difficult for me to read. It’s a good thing your plot is worth the time, otherwise I donβt know if I’d keep reading your books. Will be starting the third now.

Book 4 was edited by a professional – still found errors after it was published… sigh

Peter, large plate glass is made by floating molten glass on a bed of liquid tin. This allows for a perfectly smooth surface and the tin helps to anneal the glass to prevent cracking during cooling.

Peter – just bought the first four books from Amazon (real books!). I read the first one as an ebook and was hooked! Were you inspired by “Lest Darkness Fall”?

Considering I read Lest darkness Fall for the first time back in I think in the 70’s I would have to say it was a factor, as was the Island In the Sea Of Time Books and several other AH books. The Arturo story is something that I have had in my head for more than twenty years though although I only seriously began writing after I finished my Ancient History Degree in 2012. I did an Ancient History degree to get the qualifications to be able to write academically and once I had my BA promptly turned to writing SciFi – the Arturo book I started maybe a year later with On The Rocks being the 3rd or 4th book I started writing. The others may get published at some stage…. maybe…
and if you really want to know the first was a near future SF book (approx 30k written so far), the second was a SF book set in Bujold’s Vorkosigan universe with 50k written but she has stated she won;t share-crop and the third was Arturo I think – bit might have been Colossus (only 8k ever written) then Arturo.
How my disjointed mind works. I have 20 books under way (some may never be finished) of which three are sort of anthologies of short stories chronicling the adventures of a trans-dimensional wizard plus the 3 remaining Arturo books with 7 stagnant at present.

I meant book 7 is stagnant – just nothing concrete as a story line

Regarding book 7 – perhaps jump forward to the world that has progressed faster because of Arturo’s alterations to the fifth century and focus on his descendants?
